Fake News

As you may have noticed, I don’t post articles on the Iron Guru site too often. I wait until I’m told (from a higher power), to post something. Otherwise, the ego may take over and say something that is not divine by nature. Here is what has been brought to my attention.

I believe it was President Trump who coined the phrase “fake news”. I first remember watching the News on TV with my family during the early sixties. The news, including TV, radio, and print media, was what we looked to for what was going on around us. As far as I remember, it was a trusted source of information. Yes, there was the conservative side and the liberal side, but they weren’t at opposite ends of the spectrum as they are today. There was a lot that both sides had in common. I also noticed a sense of reverence among the newscasters. When they said something, you took it as truth, nothing was taken out of context. This is not to say there wasn’t any media control or propaganda, but for the most part, it wasn’t “fake”.

Jumping ahead to the twenty first century, news reporting as we once knew it is gone. It has since turned into a source of lies, hatred, and self serving rhetoric, that has polarized all Americans. Today’s news reporting does not try to help clarify issues, but rather to place blame on a person, a political party, or a country, forcing you to take sides. They lead you to hate and discriminate against others through lies and false accusations. In my opinion, the news media is not looking to keep America strong, nor to maintain peace throughout the world, quite the contrary.

Allow me to close by saying this. The root of all this stems from our political parties. Both major parties lie, and neither side is better than the other. Instead of working together, they are tearing us apart. If you choose to watch the news, be ready to be manipulated to satisfy their political agenda. Be ready to feel hatred towards your fellow Americans. Be ready to weaken America and allow your hard earned freedoms to be taken away. Be ready to take sides and be blinded to what our only goal should be… Peace among ALL people.

For those of you who are guided by your divine spirit, then you know this is all an illusion, and fully understand what I’ve already said. For us, we can just sit back and watch the charade. It’s actually quite amusing to watch people take what they call life so seriously.

  1. I read this and feel compelled to say that the goal of peace between all people cannot be achieved while there exists enforced suffering.
Tragedy, illness, death, misadventure – these are parts of the human condition, to which we must make peace within ourselves. However, as continues tyranny, oppression, bigotry, exploitation and violence against each other, there shall never be peace.
To be able to sit back and watch this, call any of it a charade, and do so without feeling the real pain of real consequences is a high privilege. To be unaffected in your resources can make you unaffected in your soul, and your mind, which is the lens through which it sees the world. Let it not be fogged by self-dellusion, or confirmation bias.
Neutrality favours only the oppressor – as people of good conscience refuse to act, so they do act, to perpetuate injustice, suffering, and the dominance of evil.

    1. Thank you for expressing your viewpoint. I understand how you feel, but scroll to the end my Fake News post and you’ll see that I mentioned “divine spirit”. Everything and everyone you see or have ever seen, is a projection of your consciousness. All that you see has been planned in advance. Every event you have ever witnessed was a lesson of some sort for you. Everyone you see is playing a role, good or bad, for you to learn from. They are characters that must carry out their part. There are no good and no bad people. If you are familiar with the Christian story of Jesus, Judas was made out to be the “bad guy” who ratted out Jesus. Why would a God create a bad person? Simple. Judas had to play the role of a bad guy for the story to unfold. As you go through this illusion we call human life, watch what goes on around you. NEVER judge anyone for the role they play. They are there for YOU to learn from. What you get out of each lesson is totally up to you. If the things that disturb you seem to be repeating themselves, then you didn’t learn your lesson the first time around. As you learn, your soul is elevated. Enjoy life my friend. Thank you again for expressing your views.
